General News
In an effort to further enhance public safety for residents and visitors, Lower Salford Township recently purchased 16 new Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Equipped with the latest technology, these devices are designed to help first responders and bystanders provide lifesaving assistance during cardiac emergencies.
The AEDs will be deployed throughout the Township, including in police vehicles, the Township Building, and the Public Works Department. Additional units will be installed in climate-controlled, publicly accessible cabinets at select Township parks, expanding access to lifesaving equipment throughout the community. The devices are designed for use by anyone, with clear voice prompts that guide users through every step of the process.
Thank you to the Harleysville Lions Club, Harleysville Jaycees, and Rotary Club of Harleysville, whose contributions helped make this investment possible.
