LSPD has been receiving many calls from residents who have been receiving phones calls purporting to be from an officer with the Lower Salford Police Department.  The recipients of these phone calls are being told that they missed jury duty and there is a warrant for their arrest and requesting money to satisfy the warrant.  These phone calls are SCAMS.  LSPD does not request or solicit money from anyone, to include cash, gift cards, or Bitcoin.  Please do not send any money to these scammers and end the phone call.  Contact LSPD with any questions at 215-256-9500.
