Lower Salford Township is currently accepting applications for the new Open Space/Trails Committee, a volunteer advisory committee that helps protect and enhance the parks, trails, and open spaces that make our community a special place to live.
The Open Space/Trails Committee will work with Township staff, elected officials, and community partners to provide recommendations on open space preservation, environmental stewardship, trail connections, and other initiatives that support the Township's long-term vision.
Whether you enjoy hiking local trails, value land preservation, or simply want to give back to your community, serving on the Open Space/Trails Committee is a meaningful way to make a lasting impact.
Residents with backgrounds in environmental conservation, sustainability, planning and engineering, are encouraged to apply. No previous board experience is required.
