Residents are invited to explore a wide variety of native plants at the upcoming Native Plant Sale hosted by the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy, taking place at Dragonfly Farm in Jacob Reiff Park (775 Quarry Road, Harleysville, PA 19438).
The in-person sale will be held:
- Saturday, May 9, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday, May 10, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
The Native Plant Sale will feature over 150 species of plants native to Pennsylvania, including flowering perennials, ferns, grasses, vines, trees, and shrubs. Conservancy staff and volunteers will be available to provide guidance and answer questions, helping residents select plants that best suit their landscape.
Attendees can also enjoy a variety of educational opportunities throughout the weekend, including a Butterfly Garden Tour, Lawn to Garden Workshop, and Wildflower and Plant Walk.
The Lower Salford Historic Society will also have a table at the event, where visitors can learn more about the history of Lower Salford Township, Jacob Reiff Park, and the surrounding area.
