**INDOOR-RECREATION IDEAS
With the COVID-19 Pandemic keeping us safely social distancing at home we are all, especially those with children at home, looking for Indoor Entertainment. Our good friends at Whitemarsh Township compiled a very thorough listing of activities, crafts, virtual tours and tips for these unprecedented times. Please link below to the Whitemarsh website. Lower Salford thanks The Whitemarsh Parks and Recreation Department for their efforts and is pleased to share this information with our residents.

Refrain from Hoarding Grocery Items

Lower Salford Township has been asked by Federal agencies to urge residents to return to their normal pace of grocery shopping as there will be an adequate supply of products for their consumption. Regional warehouses are only experiencing shortages where there appears to be consumer hoarding. They also want the public to be assured of the fact that the grocery stores are taking extensive measures to reduce any opportunity for contamination in stores and with the public’s cooperation, they will continue to provide a clean, virus-free environment stocked with healthy and fresh foods for everyone.

Many grocery and retailers have adjusted their hours to account for extra cleaning procedures. Some have added special times for seniors and/or those with health concerns to shop on their own to avoid crowds. Check the store beforehand to confirm hours of operation and if they offer special shopping opportunities for seniors and/or those with health conditions. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
