Please join the Township Family in welcoming Kent Krauss to the Board of Supervisors. At the February 1st meeting of the Board of Supervisors, the Board appointed resident Kent Krauss to fill the vacancy left by retiring Chairman Douglas Gifford.
Supervisor Krauss will be completing the remaining term of Douglas Gifford, which ends December 31, 2023.
Mr. Krauss grew up in Lower Salford Township. In fact, his father, Wayne Dennis Krauss, was also a Supervisor back in the 80s. Kent has followed in the footsteps of his father by becoming involved in the community in many ways. Kent is currently a volunteer on the Board of the Harleysville Community Center, is a member of the Harleysville Area Jaycees and has been the Chairman of the Lower Salford Park Board for over 10 years.
Kent resides in the Township with his wife Becky, daughter Jenna and son Owen.
