We know many of our residents are eager to fully utilize our parks. We have tried to strike a balance with the shut down and transitional phase restrictions. We never closed our parks during this period, but restricted certain facilities to protect the health of our community in conjunction with the Governor’s orders. We are excited that residents will be able to use more of our facilities and expect that the noted safety measures be followed for the welfare and safety of all who use our parks. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation; we are fully aware how difficult the last few months have been for many. We ask that you respect the Governor's orders and our implementation of them with each phase of the re-opening. Above all, be safe!

Montgomery County will be transitioning from the Yellow to Green reopening Phase on Friday, June 26, 2020. The Township has been asked many questions regarding what exactly that means. What can we do? What can't we do? The Township is continuing to abide by Governor Wolf's directives and will be following the Green Phase Guidelines put forth by their office on May 22, 2020. During the green phase, the Township playground equipment will reopen as well as the athletic fields and the courts. Please keep in mind that even though this phase is called "Green", it is still not an all clear and smart hygiene practices and physical distancing need to be maintained. Below is a sample of the signage you will see when visiting our playgrounds, fields and courts.
