Fingerprinting
Persons that require fingerprinting for employment purposes may contact the office to schedule an appointment.
Vacation Notices
Residents are urged to notify the Police Department prior to leaving for vacation. Please contact the Police Department office by phone or visit the office to supply the required information.
Bicycle Registration
Bicycle registration is strongly encouraged in the event that a bicycle is lost or stolen. Registration forms may be obtained at the Police Department office during normal office hours.
Child Safety Seat Inspections
In Pennsylvania, all vehicle occupants under 18 years of age are required to be in a seat belt system. Drivers are responsible to secure children under 4 years of age in an approved child passenger restraint system. From 4 to 8 years of age, children must be in a seat belt system and an appropriately fitting child booster seat.
Lower Salford Police can perform a child safety seat inspection with one of our NHTSA CPS technicians. Please contact the office to schedule an appointment.

Security Surveys
Lower Salford Township Police conduct security and safety inspections of homes and businesses located within our township. Contact us to schedule an appointment with one of our Crime Prevention Officers for this service.

Harleysville Night Out is an event involving our Township residents, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, organizations and local officials. Event highlights include emergency vehicle displays, games, food and much more. This event will be held Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at the Charles L. Reed Memorial Park, Clemens Road, Harleysville, PA. Township residents can expect to interact with their local law enforcement officers, view displays of various other law enforcement and crime prevention organizations and equipment, and enjoy an evening of entertainment, fun, food and prizes. Bring the entire family and show your support of the public safety agencies that are working together to keep your community safe, and have a fun-filled evening, all free of charge!
