CELL PHONES FOR SOLDIERS PROGRAM

The Lower Salford Township Police Department is pleased to announce their participation in Cell Phones For Soldiers, a non-profit organization, founded by teenagers Robbie and Brittany Bergquist of Norwell, Mass., to recycle used cell phones, using the proceeds to buy prepaid calling cards for soldiers serving in the Middle East. Local residents can support this effort by dropping off their old cell phones at the Lower Salford Township Police Dept., 379 Main Street, Harleysville, PA, between the hours of 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. For further information, contact Barbara Finnegan at 215-256-9500. |
